It's simple. If someone you already dislike continuously does things deemed ridiculous in his personal life, he will be scrutinized for it. The people here obviously have no interest in his in ring abilities, they are more so concerned about what he's doing outside of it because they know his next opponent will be outclassed. They'll lie to themselves and say that "Broner not that good" "he can be touched" "he's never faced a puncher like Miadana" "he'll be out of shape come fight time", sure they'll say things like this right now. Until after the fight where they'll claim Maidana was a cherrypick. But this is to be expected. Every fighter does dumb *****. The fighters that they like, they'll ignore it and sweep it under the rug. The fighters they dislike, they'll blow it up as if they lost a fight. Bottom line, grow up. This is boxing.

LOL. According to the WORST poster on this site, if you are a Floyd fan, you're racist. Boy this site is straight doo-doo. And get this, I have NEVER seen the guy post about actual in the ring BOXING topics or anything BESIDE his two man crushes, Mayweather and Broner. You won't catch me calling Maidana a cherry pick. If Broner manages to beat maidana, I will give him respect for his in ring abilities, while still despising the man as a repugnant human being. The thing is, people are assuming way too much about Broner's abilities. He has a static shoulder roll. sluggish footwork. he's going to be concentrating more on making weight than any real gameplan or development of his skills. He's accustomed to being the bigger guy with more power at the lower weights. Now at 147 he doesn't have the same hammer he used to, and Maidana does. Plus the fact that people underestimate Maidana's recent improvements, and the interesting tidbit that Maidana will be in the shape of his LIFE... he finally has an s & c coach.

People will be very surprised at how sharp and explosive he'll be. and relentless. They gonna go at this like Castillio did Mayweather. Only Broner aint Mayweather, and Maidana has a bigger punch than Castillo. To me its a perfect storm for Maidana.

you should hope for a decision, because Maidana will be in the fight the whole way. You should hope Broner can grow some movement.

Maidana only fights in one way. Getting into Maidana's head is not going to take him out of his game plan because he continues to be a crude puncher. Maidana is jabbing a little bit more but that is not going to help him against Broner.
