Been gone for a minute, over a year to be exact. Last fight I watched was Marquez/Pacquaio when Pacquiao lost, and even then I wasn't following it too close. Lost 5k on that fight. Real money. Needed a break I guess plus other personal life issues. Plus My Ring Magazine subscription expired. And im Not really a Mayweather fan, his low risk 12 round UD fights are predictable and his shtick on 24/7 or whatever it is now really played out. All my fav fighters either retired or in decline (Pavlik, Calzaghe, Cotto, Hatton, RJJ) So Somebody refresh me - what did I miss in the past year or so and whats actually worth catching up on? Best fights, best buildups? Heard a rumour Larry Merchant died? Heard a little about Malignaggi-Broner pre-fight lead up being extremely entertaining ? Caught some of it on youtube but didnt see the fight

Okay okay. But i'll keep it short, and only big fights.
Danny Garcia is the king at 140. He knocked out Amir Khan and beat Lucas Matthysse, and he beat Judah in between.
Rigondeaux beat the breaks out of Donaire.
Mayweather took Canelo's 0 and became Ring champ at 147 and 154.
Wladimir Klitscko and Alexander Povetkin finally fought but it wasn't pretty. Wlad won a wrestling match.
Timothy Bradley beat Juan Manuel Marquez and Marquez claimed robbery, fans disagree that it was robbery. Personally I thought it was a draw.
Cotto destroyed Delvin Rodriguez.

Anyways, Bernard Hopkins is an Alien, Bradley proved he was the real deal against Marquez, Floyd fought a drained Canelo and that somehow makes him the greatest fighter of all time, Wilder fought a few more taxi driver and milk delivery men, Garcia exposed Matthyse, and Pacquiao is about to make Rios go full ****** in a couple weeks.
Oh and Roach brought the old Cotto back.Comment
