He was always a 1 trick pony. What did he have outside of that Counter uppercut? He looked subpar everytime he fought a fellow southpaw simply because it negated his ability to land that upper.
Dude was hype based on the fact that he had 1 incredible weapon. He got a gift to Grachev shortly after.Comment

Bute always seemed overrated as heck to me and well connected because his talents definitely didn't match the hype. Pascal takes this fight easily.Comment

He postponed the pascal fight because he got ko'd in sparring. cancelled the whole camp. It doesn't sound like a man with a lot of confidence in himself. Fighters get knocked down in sparring all the time and still go through with the fight because they are confident they prepared well enough to win. Maybe broken was a little far but I think he has some doubts about himself that have carried on since the froch fight. Time will tell.Comment

Bute never had a proper trainer -- in more than ten years, Larouche didn't teach Lucian anything about pro defense or fighting from inside. Because Larouche knows nothing of these... Bute is boxing the same way he was boxing at the amateurs. Bute was badly exposed and he knows that by himself, in my opinion... Even if he beats Pascal, Bute has nowhere to go with the Froches, Wards, Stevensons or Kovalevs at 168-175...
(I used to be a Bute's fan, because he's from my country.)Comment

Froch had been in there consistently with the best fighters in the division and stood his own(except when he fought THE best)
Bute hadn't fought anybody. Froch had an insurmountable experience advantage. When you fight the best, you take something from each fight.
When you fight tomato cans you don't gain **** lolLast edited by DARKSEID; 11-01-2013, 03:51 AM.Comment
