If you watch Manny he has always been a beast, dude is just a monster in the ring, self taught natural born FIGHTER not boxer. He has been fighting on the streets just to eat.

He was more of an inside fighter in his early years I seen a lot of his fights when he was like 17-20 years old and he would dig in with body shots and fight in close and brawl and get hit a lot.

He didn't really change his style till his body started maturing in his early 20s, when he started using more fast foot movement.
