As long as Jones doesn't fall asleep on his feet again he could take the decision.

      1. i was just wondering tomyself why this fight hadnt happened. they are both desperate for a big fight but to shot for anyone to bother with them, fighting each other seemed like the smartest move (with the exception of retirement of course).

      2. james toney is awesome

      3. why the hell are these *******s on instagram writing to roy like he is still THAT roy jones? all on his nuts acting like he shouldnt retire.. the ****??

i think a fighter has the right to retire whenever he wants to, if roy wants to damage his legacy and his health for no apparent reason thats his call. he is a grown ass man and its his life, but to actually encourage him to keep going.. why would someone do such a thing?

      4. toney sparks him out easily and brutally.

Two of my favorite fighters ever, growing up watching these two was awesome. They are both ATGs whose legacies are beyond reproach.

That said, James Toney will KO Roy. Toney had the style to last, he is a throwback, he could fight until 55 and still get some good rounds. Fat, overweight, whatever, he can still ****, he always had some pop but he never had devastating power he was more an accumulation type guy. Footspeed isn't an issue because well, Toney never had any he was always flat flooted. His chin is made of granite infused with tunkston.

I would love to see the ghosts of Roy and Toney fight a rematch of the uncivil war.
