I'm surprised at how heavily favoured Pacquiao is to win by KO. I would probably side with the Pacman too but do not count out the younger, fresher and possibly hungrier Rios. He hits as hard as anyone, has a great chin, zero quit and likes a fight...remember Pacquiao is coming back from the worst loss of his career, he may not be all there mentally and physically.

There have been so many cross road fights of this sort in the past, the young, hungry, hard hitting challenger and the possibly fading star.

I favour Pacquiao but it will NOT be easy, he will have to fight every step of the way in what I predict to be Pacquiao's toughest fight in years.

              Exactly!

That's exactly what's going to happen.

                This idiot.

"How is Manny gonna knock out the indestructible? Who has the better chin, Rios or '08 Oscar at 147? If prime Manny couldn't drop Oscar then how is he going to stop Rios today?"

This guy is an idiot and doesn't know boxing. First of all, last time I checked, you don't KO Oscar De La Hoya. 2nd of all, who would compare Rios to The Golden Boy anyway? Smh. Manny is looking scary right now and weighs 142lbs. His body looks like it did in '09 when he was whooping ass. His speed, power, and footwork had suffered a bit in the Bradley and Roidquez fights, due to lack of focus and training methods that got him to the dance. Now, he's back to his normal exercises and routine of when he was dominating. This is all bad, not only for Rios, but for ANYONE. Manny will remind us all of why he is an all-time great.

you'd think this would be similar to pac/margarito....
                    the two questions are:

has manny changed since being KO'd
can Rios take all the punishment, if manny is still the same manny

As Rios will be a bit more in manny's face for this fight that margarito (IMO), im gonna say a TKO for manny, as rios will just keep coming.

Anyone know how big the ring is and size gloves?

apologies if already covered but has the devastating natural disaster in the Phillipines effected Pacmans preparations? Is he still there?

thoughts and prayers to those effected, RIP
