    Many of the top dogs at 147 are more naturally skilled but smaller in size than the 140 crew.

    The 140 crew has dudes that cut weight, probably more naturally powerful, but less skilled.

    There's no reason why Floyd, JMM, and Pac are at 147 and Danny Garcia, Alvarado, Lamont etc. are at 140

      He can still fight and can make 140, why he chooses not too I have no clue. All the guys he fought at 147 is bigger than him even the ones moving up in weight to fight him is bigger than him.

        Someone may have already mentioned it but in the Pacquiao Bradley fight the HBO unofficial fight night weights were 150 Pacquiao and 148 Bradley. Last Marquez fight Pacquiao was 151 and Marquez 148.
