You speak nonsense. One can make a argument for Floyd beating anyone...but yours is WAY over the top and thus, no one will take you seriously.

But if SRL admitted that he was severely calculated in picking him then that proves the FACT that it was a cherrypick. You seem to change the argument to your belief that he was better than anyone Floyd fought, which is your opinion. But your main argument was that he wasnt a cherrypick, which was easily proven by SRL himself. Its widely known that he was a cherrypick.

And I feel that Duran was proven to not be an elite fighter everytime he lost to elite fighters. I dont think anyone looks at him as anything elite. Just a great fighter with skills, but not too much heart, and with no ability to avail when he fought top tier competition. Agree to disagree, no beef!

No way mayweather beats Leonard ....sugar was just as fast hit harder and was taller ripped combos while Floyd picks his shots one at a time

Nothing I say is over the top. I use logic and I speak about these fighters from a tactical stand point. You have yet to do that. You probably just feel that Floyd would lose just because SRL fought in the past era. I bet if Broner improved, no one would want to say that he was better than Floyd if he actually was better than him. Everyone would automatically claim that Floyd would beat him easily. I dont play those games, I push NO agendas! No beef, nice talk, Tnx!

He is widely regarded as the greatest lightweight of all time and routinely ranked in the top 10 of all time.

You may need to consider following a different sport.

He did great at lightweight, and I have always given him credit for that. But SRL cherrypicked him. I re-edited my last comment. Give it a check out!

It's a 50/50 fight, IMO. I know fans have the tendency to hold old school athletes to higher standards like they were unbeatable and were near-perfect, but stylistically, Floyd would hold his own against him. Mayweather-Whitaker is another 50/50 fight IMO.

As much as I like Floyd the reality is he would have ducked a fighter like SRL unless SRL was clearly past it.

                    Stopped reading there.

In response to the thread: Leonard fought a bigger, stronger, and equally slick version of Mayweather in Benitez. Very competitive fight, but Leonard out-boxed him, and he'd likely do the same with Floyd.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Like SRL is some beast in comparison to Floyd. I think Floyd would look at him as just a regular guy with some speed. And based on SRL ducking, dodging, picking, and choosing guys who arent HALF as good as Floyd, I think its pretty obvious that he would duck the DOGSHIET out of Floyd. I saw that fight with Floyd Sr, and Floyd Jr would be an animal that SRL would not be ready for!!!
