Just when David Tua and Joseph Parker thought they had a free reign at the top of the New Zealand heavyweight landscape to orchestrate things they way they want, along comes boxing’s ‘Comeback Kid’ - Shane Cameron.
The Mountain Warrior today signed up for December’s Woodstock Fight for Life marking a return to the ring for the first time in 13 months and, even more appetisingly, he’s coming back as a heavyweight.
"That will set the cat amongst the pigeons," said Woodstock Fight for Life icon, Duco Events promoter Dean Lonergan.
"Shane Cameron back as a heavyweight opens up all sorts of possibilities when it comes to match-ups with Joseph Parker and David Tua.
