Should this type of Knock Down warrant an immidiate stoppage???

Should this type of Knock Down warrant an immediate stoppage???

As you know Kochulito was allowed (some may even go as far as to say forced) to continue to fight and took two pretty vicious hits to the head from The Flash.....knowing full well that in boxing the next punch to the cranium can be fatal....do you want that ref (do you need that ref) to stop that fight after that type of knockdown??? or did the ref do the right thing by almost baiting him to keep fighting??? whachugot???

Yes a fight NEEDS to be stoped after that type of KD

Depends on the circumstances, he is a world champion and deserves the benefit of the doubt so no.

Yeah it should have been stopped but I don't thnk the ref saw Montiel's leg twitch or he would have stopped it right there and then.

Of course, that looks a lot worse than Gonzalez vs Mares, which was stopped and Mares was the champion and no one really cared that the fight might have been stopped prematurely.

In a situation like that, he should've took some time to at least speak to the guy, ask him if he wanted to continue and no matter what he says gauge his response. but its looked pretty bad.

He was going to land face down but some how twisted over. When a fighter falls face down 99% of the time he's finished! That ref was rushing when the count got to 9 and asked him to move forward but the fighter did NOT understand him so the fights done at that point. You can be seriously damaged and still be on your feet. The ref acted to excited for me, when things get hot in the ring the ref needs to be cool and collected. Peoples lives are in his hands. Ray

It's such a ******ed protocol. I always notice refs stop looking at the body at the ground and instead point their attention towards moving the guy to a corner. Full attention should always be given to guy who's brain just got forcefully slammed against his skull, not the other guy.
