And Donaire wants no part of Rigo? He fought him when he could have probably avoided him and gotten away with it. He deserves respect for taking a risky fight even though he didn't have to, yet all he gets is sh.it. And I'm sure he would gladly rematch Rigo after a confidence booster or two.
Garcia is above Chavez Jr., but that's not saying a lot because JCC Jr. is as lazy as they come and is only living off his daddy's success. Donaire deserves huge props for taking the Rigo fight and I hope they fight again soon.

      Garbage match up..
Your not taking the revenge factor into play. Darchinyan wants his revenge so bad he will do whatever it takes to beat Donaire.

He just fought Rigondeaux. I think it's okay for him to take a "tuneup"

Plus I don't think Darchinyan is even a tune up. Since Donaire KO'd him last time, he has never been KO'd again. Darchinyan can win this if Donaire doesn't bring his A game. Darchinyan has been wanting his revenge for some time now.

does Donaire ever actually train with Robert?

For the Rigo fight he said he did most of his training through the phone

I think he's having his training camp in Oxnard at the Garcia gym. I have seen some youtube vids of him there.

Its just excuses. Garcia has never been his full time trainer.

Garcia just seems like a figure head.

He should get rid of Garcia and try to spark Mikey out, that's a fight i would love to see at 126 and would get him back to previous status just like that. Seems like Garcia gives much more attention to Rios and Mikey maybe that is by design, because its always been that way.

But let's face it Vic is a tune up every body knows that, last time he looked good was quite a few years ago and even looking good he was beaten by Agbeko in a dirty war lost to Mares (although i thought that fight was pretty even) but even that was almost 4 years ago since then he has lost 2 more, and them two weren't even close, if he got sparked by Donaire when he was better, and does better now that he is 70% of his former self then that means Donaire has lost a step Vic should get sparked or at least dominated on points if he starts doing his dirty **** hope he gets ktfo.

I agree, Donaire would beat Mikey if they were to fight. Mikey has just not fought anyone good and Martinez is not that good as well. Mikey needs to fight Gamboa.
