This past July John Molina Jr managed to put his career back on track as he scored a dramatic come from behind win over then undefeated Mickey Bey. Molina’s power caught up with Bey in the final minute of the final round and now Molina is looking forward to the reward of a big world title fight.

Molina’s options are pretty wide open as he’s not limited to fighting only certain fighters from a specific promoter or that fight on a certain network. He currently campaigns at 135 pounds but is willing to face the top 140 pounders and isn’t shy about naming them.

I think this would be a great fight, or Molina can have a rematch with Antonio DeMarco at 140 since DeMarco is moving up too and then have the winner face Provodnikov.

Rulsan was ROBBED in the Bradley fight of that KNOCKDOWN in round 1, and hurt him thru out the fight and just a few more seconds the fight would have been over due to the ref stopping the fight or a pure KO by Ruslan

I'd be down for this, I've always said one day promoters and networks would stop trying to make fights that made sense for titles, and instead make fights that will be good for fans.

This is one of those fights. Please make this happen.

The same John Molina who lost to Klimov? Sure styles make fights but Provodnikov would absolutely flatten Molina, no point in that fight other then for pure entertainment, IMO. Ruslan can and probably deserves a bigger fight

Agreed. I am hoping JMM mans up and takes the offer. Arum seems very interested in it but I'm not so sure JMM would want that kind of fight at this stage.

Molina and his straight up style would get murdered by Ruslan. His face would get broken.

How's he open to fighting them if he's with Showtime and GBP? He can only fight Alvarez....and will lose.....sad story but carrot top needs a belt. Say bye bye Molina....your two minutes of fame are up and Schaefer cannot afford Cotto.
