That said, if he beat Sergio and JCC in 2014 and the ward in early 2015 he could become a consistent 350-500k ppv seller.
Kinda this ^. It would really take a fight with a recognised PPV star to get him the popularity in the first place. If he could get this and impress it might help, but given that their just ain't much PPV talent at 160 (in terms of popularity only JCC jr and Maravilla) it's hard to see where he would go from there.

At 168 Froch would be a PPV for sure in the UK and possibly in the US, Chavez Jr at 168 (where most likely he'll stay) would work and Ward perhaps.

The thing is the PPV fights are generally in the 135-154 weight ranges at the moment, and right now I don't see any of the TR/HBO 154 PPV talent (by which I mainly mean Cotto) wanting to fight GGG.

Golovkin may (if he continues to impress) land 1 or 2 PPVs in his career if he's prepared to move around a bit ie 154 and 168, but most likely that'd be it I guess. If the cold war ends, there might be a couple more to be had at 154, but in the end I doubt he'll ever gain the massive popularity of a FMJ, DLH, PAC or even Cotto.

let's hope not, sick of PPV
don't want anymore fighters "going Hollywood"
doubt it would happen anyway, GGG is about fighting, not persona
he has the style to excite everyone but not the x factor
and for all his power, he's not that good, that Ouma fight still haunts

Nope Golovkin can't be a star, his country of Kazakhstan don't support boxing.
