You know what's weird about that whole situation is that Cotto didn't start complaining about weight until after he'd gotten his azz kicked

and folks started saying it was due to the weight..hell Pedro to this day stand by the fact the weight wasn't the issue. Look I love Cotto but he and Marquez have one thing in common they don't handle losing well at all. Look at the Trout fight, Miguel really turned me off as a fan with that behavior. The fact is that Pacquaio hadn't made 147 once up to that point, he came in at the top of his weight for that fight at 144. Now I will say he drained the hell out of Margarito but I don't mind that one because I don't think anyone has an issue with Margarito getting the living shhh beat out of him. In my humble opinion Cotto does not belong at 154..too short and too slow for the division.

To each their own..he was fine fighting Jennings at 145 and Clottey at 146 I don't see how in the world losing 12 more ounces would be something he genuinely would've felt as much of a difference.

eh,maybe u right about the cotto fight,but still shouldn't have been asked to come down,what for?but for him to say pac has fought guys who hit harder isn't that fair because they were asked to come down,he fought clottey at 147 but clottey admitted that he had trouble making weight and only did it because of the money,he seems to have a slight advantage with cotto I really believe that

Gtfo with that **** lol. Clottey has fought at 147 pretty much his entire career.
Same with margarito, he was always a 147 fighter. The only other fight at 154 was against roberto garcia which was pretty much a tuneup fight to get ready for the pac fight at 150. If anything the catch weight helped him.

Also if you dont think pac hits considerably harder than anybody on rios's resume i dont know what to tell you. He dropped mosley when fricking canelo couldnt.

I got a weird feeling that we will see a different Rios against pac. He may box, not brawl and may be studying pac's tendencies to deliver a brutal punch like Marquez did.

The big question is, would he be able to follow the Marquez blue print?

I think everyone continues to underestimate Rios. Yes I still think Pac will win but I do not see this walk in the park, easy KO everyone sees. Sure I could be wrong but I don't see it. Pac hasn't stopped anyone dramatically in years and nothing at WW at all (aside from 12th rd Cotto). That was a ref stoppage though. I do not see Pac pulling a Hatton shot on Rios. Rios hits harder and does more damage than people think. He is one tough sob too, physically and mentally. Remember Rios has problems with boxer/movers (Acosta, Abril, Mike A.). Pac is not that at all. Pac is flat footed and just bobs and weaves with angles, he does not move around great nor have great footwork. He will probably trade with Rios, which may not serve Rios well but it may not serve Pac well either. The best thing for Rios to do is stay right inside with Pac, and smother his only real punch, that left cross. Pac has never been a great body puncher nor inside fighter so that is Rios best bet. If he fights Pac at a distance and in the middle of the ring or off the ropes he is in trouble. He needs to keep his face in Pac's chest and shovel hook him to death, body/head/body, repeat. No one test's Pac's body that much and it would serve Rios well. I can tell you this, if Pac loses or barely gets by Rios he can forget any Floyd fight at any point.

pac hits hard but its mostly his dpeed and dont bring cottos power bcuz he wasnt at his best in terms of power. getting weightdrained caused him to look slow as early as the third round, marg had to come down too,jmm isnt that strong he just landed the perfect punch while at same time pac was coming in

Sorry to disagree. Correct me if Im wrong but Cotto is 1lb under (145) from his last couple of fights (146) when he fought Pac, I think he looks fine, solid & his speed & reflex is ok until 4 or 5th rnd. He also has the same speed & power when he fought at 154 after that, so weight drain issue is not relevant. Marg didnt came down for pac, he is fighting at 147 "almost" his entire career, in fact his last 2 fights before pac is at WW. So weight draining again is not so entirely accurate. The only thing I agreed with you is the perfectly punched from Marquez that put Pac to asleep. I almost told to everyone that Pac Knocked himself out. Not JMM. lol

Rios is not a very bright young man,he's also very punch drunk..he has nothing which makes him a good fighter..he goes in takes the punishment and if the other bum has less skills(which is very unlikely) he will win the fight. Pacquiao is gonna destroy the punch drunk ******.
