    why the hell not?
HW needs action, that Wlad-Povetkin fight was horrible
usually like Wlad, but man that one ******
HW needs a firefight ASAP to wake people up
Arreola-Wilder sounds perfect, time for Wilder to step up
Arreola isn't that good himself, but still a step up for Wilder
he's knocking out stiffs and getting his hype train rolling
put him in a serious, fan friendly fight and see how he does

Anyone who thinks Wilder should wait at least a year to fight someone like Arreola is part of the problem with boxing not forcing fighters with similar unbeaten records to step up in class. The ****ing guy is almost 30 and some of you clowns think he should wait another year to fight Arreola?? When does he fight the top level heavyweights then?? When he's 40?? Some of these new boxing fans who would rather see a guy continue to fight bums to maintain an unbeaten record rather than see a competitiive fight that might actually go longer than 3-4 rds makes me sick.

Surely Arreola takes the fight?! It's the same sell as the Mitchell one for him, Cris isn't the biggest talent, but he's an established pro whose been boxing for years against a, still pretty green, Wilder.
Let's see it get made! And then the winner can face Vitali for the title....

That should be a target for the end of next year. Maybe start out with Jameel McCline early in the year, Tony Thompson in the summer, then close with Arreola or Stiverne.
            ummm no
tony is better than arreola he would wreck wilder

First off yes i would live to see this fight. Neither has a good D and have good power, however....

I don't think would be a good move for either team. If Arreola wins then all it is is a win over another novice prospect, which wouldn't push him forward Imo. If he gets caught and loses then his career is really in the crapper and there aren't many options for him.

For Wilder a win (pretty much definitely a ko) would elevate him to a level i don't think he is ready for. A loss means he goes back to fighting bums trying to rebuild his rep. I think there are more steps he needs before he meets Arreola.

i would like to see wilder with a better trainer and develop better technique before he steps up in class, if not, i just don't see him reaching top tier status, or even fateola level.

while an areola fight would be fun while it lasted, the deontree would come a crashin' down.
