A TRUE FAN of Mayweather would be 100% supportive of an Amir Khan fight.

True Floyd fans know that Floy's quest is profit and Amir Khan stands out as one of the most bankable opponents Floyd can get as his B-Side.

Amir vs anybody else... Not so great for PPV. But Amir vs Mayweather and we have a huge market willing to pay up.

Floyd fans need to stop being so selfish with their whining about who Floyd wants to fight and let the guy pick the most bankable opponents regardless of their KO ratios, as Floyd has earned the right to pick and choose the most bankable opponents.

You don't earn a fight with Mayweather by getting knocked out. Oh wait maybe you do.

Khan would get humiliated against Floyd and lose the fight by KO/TKO before the 8th round.

5 years? This would be the worst, most meaningless fight of his ENTIRE CAREER. Sharmba Mitchell was a welterweight tuneup. OK No problem. He fought in some title eliminators and made some mandatory defenses. Cool. You got do do what you got to do.

But this is nothing more than a cherry picking money grab.

The UK promos and the pre-fight, laser light extravaganza intros will be more exciting than the fight.

Floyd would fight him, not go for the ko and that would be Amirs Victorious dillusion, after the fight we will never stop hearing from Amir about how well he did vs Floyd

Is anyone surprised that this is being set up as Mayweather's next fight? He's always taken on lesser opponents as long as the money is there. As another user mentioned, he's not called Money for nothing. Floyd goes where the money goes and where he knows his unbeaten record will be secure. He doesn't give a damn about a legacy or putting on an entertaining bout for the fans. He only cares about his pocketbook and continuing to control who his opponents are until he retires. Fighting Amir Khan, an inferior opponent who was already beaten by boxers who should be closer to fighting Mayweather, is right up Floyd's alley. He truly is a modern day champion, controlling his own destiny with his ever expanding pocketbook.
