Is it acceptable that Garcia and Broner openly duck Mayweather?

I must have missed the memo, but it seems like these two dudes are getting a pass for publicly and openly avoiding Floyd Mayweather. It's almost unheard of seeing two "young, hungry" fighters nearing their prime, refusing to pursue, not only the biggest, but also the most lucrative challenge available. One because he worships the ground Floyd walks in and wants to keep the money in the "team," whatever the hell that means. The other because he wants to build his own "legacy," although I'm not sure there's a better way of building a greater legacy than taking on the best fighter of this generation. These guys aren't even subtle about it, they were on Showtime yesterday flat out saying they want no part of Floyd. It's like both guys are admitting they stand no chance and rather not even step up. Say what you want about Canelo, but he dared to be great and although he got schooled, he took the challenge even though he had more to lose than these two clowns.

What makes matters worse is that both Garcia and Broner don't even want to fight each other because they're "friends."

Neither of them belong in the ring with Mayweather just yet.

Unless you have a country behind you you're more valuable undefeated.

I think it's embarrassing and pathetic. Really, Danny " i want to create my own legacy" is supposed to fly?

Come on, we make fun of some dudes for thinking they can beat Floyd, but this is much, much worst.

Broner and Danny are openly ducking and wanting no part of facing the best fighter on the planet.

Broner because.....well, why exactly? just cause you're black too does not mean he's actually your brother, leave that to the K-brothers

        Danny because....well, why exactly?

DUCKING. No excuses unless you're a nuthugger

Danny Garcia isn't even rated at 147.

And it's either we take these fighters too slow, or too fast and then they are a hypejob..

Angel Garcia openly said they are not ready for Mayweather YET... I don't get how he "ducked" Mayweather.

Broner is scared of his big bro doe.

so it's a duck because they don't think they can pass the challenge? Seems strange for boxers trying to be great.

I agree, but who from 140-154, outside of Pacquiao and Bradley (Top Rank), does? Canelo was arguably less ready, but he took the challenge and stepped up.

Danny gave no indication he wanted it. None at all. He said "if it happens or doesn't happen i'm fine" and went out of his way to talk some dumb **** about his legacy and facing fighters of his generation. It's very clear he does not want the challenge.

Boxers and their managers want to maximize value. That's priority #1.

They aren't ducking him, they are not fighting him, good move by both imo.
