    >__>... Maybe there's sarcasm here but I feel GGG is a bigger name than Quillin or is it just me under that impression? Lol

Anyway, even a past his Sergio looks like he'd put a hurting on Quillin. Everytime I see Quillin fight i just cant help but think he could do more. He has good balance and just seems that if he would let his hands go he could take his guy out.... But no... He just looks good as he moves about but then is kind of predictable with his finishing with the left hook. Then he'll just leap straight back a lot and sometimes he'll lean right and try to sweep with a left hook. Rosado to his credit isnt a complete scrub but Quillin just gives the impression he could do more but seems unable to. He's got some skills but he's going to fight a guy with skills, pop, heart and a killers mentality. The martinez vs chavez destroys him an GGG looks too consistent and skilled/powerful for Quillin who fights in spots. quillin has great power but I dont think he's AS powerful as given credit for. I get the feeling every one of the champs can take his power consistently with the possible exception being martinez's old ass but even then if he dropped Serg he'd just awaken a lion and get his ish pushed in. :/...

I really like Quillin but I'm starting to lose faith. He LOOKS good but... I'm starting to think he just LOOKS good

This is the same thing y'all said after Rigo fought Marroquin and Garcia fought Judah/Matthysse fought Peterson.

Not really. Most of the smarter posters here or not as biased ones said Rigo's defense and skill would be too much for Donaire who has never seen a guy like Rigo. And that Lucas and Danny is and was still a 50/50 fight which was decided by one round and a toss up call in said round. Both those fights went exactly as most predicted. Donaire dropped Rigo with one punch, but was out skilled otherwise and Lucas and Danny exchanged bombs all night and both hurt each other but took them.

The polls for both fights said otherwise. Garcia/Matthysse was like 75/25 and Rigo/Donaire was like 60/40.

I think Quillin would put up a better fight than most think, but I do think Golovkin is the more sound boxer thus would come out on top.

As for being worried about Quillin health, it could happen but hey that is the price of doing business in the hurt business.

There is a pretty big difference with Rigo it was pretty split on who would win between him and Donaire and everyone could see Rigo is skilled but Quillen is just a good fighter no more or less.

The whole thing about Rigondeaux is he had talent but he had never put together a whole fight and had lapses. Donaire is a simple fighter but he took advantage of mistakes.

There were reasons to pick both guys, Rigondeaux just happened to bring his A+ game which made a lot of people look smart and a lot of people look dumb.

So you would choose Quillin over GGG if they fought, yes or no?

The top fighters in each division have to fight each other. This is what makes the post 1980 era so difficult to judge with earlier eras - the best fighters often don't fight each other.

GGG and Quillen need to meet.
