Comments Thread For: Photos: Kell Brook Makes Good on Battering Senchenko

Motorpoint Arena, Sheffield - In an IBF final welterweight eliminator, Kell Brook (31-0, 21KOs) stopped former WBA champion Vyacheslav Senchenko (34-2, 23KOs) in the fourth round.

Brook was faster, stronger, and landing the sharper punches when the fight started off. In the third, Brook was landing some big punches the floored Senchneko very hard and he got up on unsteady legs. Brook went in for the kill and he was trying to finish Senchenko off with combinations. Senchenko was trying to counter, landed a few, and made it to the bell. [Click Here To Read More]

Wow, I didn't realize that Kell Brook is built like such a beast. I expect great things from him.

Kell didn't look good, he needs to fix his fundamentals. Look at the placement of his right hand when he puts his guard up......it's a good 2-3 inches away from his face, this is why Senchenko kept shooting lead left hooks, sadly for Senchenko he doesn't have that punch down. Brook is gonna find himself in serious trouble in the future if he doesn't fix his defense.

Brook still didn't impress me too much. It looked like Senchenko wasn't with it, very bad balance and he didn't use the jab effectively while Brook did.
