I heard Schaefer is prepared to offer Cotto 15 million but I am not sure Cotto takes that because he knows that fight will be there in the future if he wants it because outside of Mayweather and Pacquiao he is the top dog in terms of ppv numbers

Look at Golden Boy offering nobodies for Cotto to fight. Top Rank can just counter with Martinez, Bradley or even Marquez at a catchweight. All those wins would be better on his resume than anyone mentioned with the exception of Canelo. We don't need a Trout rematch, it's a winnable fight for Cotto but I don't want to watch that crap again with Cotto/Canelo and Cotto/Martinez as possible options. I still think Cotto takes the Martinez fight, it's the best option for his legacy IMO.
