Very reminiscent of Sam Peter's early built up set of cripples and palookas. At the time I said that they had to lean against the ropes to stay upright. It seems that Wilder's opponents are some of the same.

Still, he is huge and has (presumably) genuine KO power.
He fought a guy with a huge number of losses. He and Fury and Haye and Arrealo and Stiverne all need to tango, two already have. No more Firtha types.

True, but it is obvious the skill difference between the two is vast coming out of the ams

Edit: I meant to say talent not skill

George foreman won a gold medal in the olympics - nuff said he wasn't setting weak ass goals of knocking out his first 30 civilians then getting ranked #3 in the WBC ? He has to step it up - he is thw bum of the month *** his opponents - how can he be ranked without fighting a top 20 opponent? He is the king of sparring partners or the king of Camps - I want to see what he can do? Can he make adjustments? Does he have stamina? Can he take a punch? Can he slip a punch? What is his ring iQ like? Doea he have any other weapons besides the right? WtF we know about the WBC #3 ranked heavyweight contender?

Hopefully after this fight Wilder steps up the level of opposition. Its getting really frustrating watching him fight cans, when he had 29 fights and the fact that he`s too talented to be fighting these bums.

Now it's time to move to the big league and see what you can do! Great fight by the way.

The reason Firtha has so many losses is because he has a set of stones and fears no one. He's aggressive. He takes chances. And why is it that 90% of HWs now DO NOT have those attributes? Play it safe as long as they can to milk the most moolah, take the least chances for the biggest rewards. I doubt Wilder gets much further. Stiverne or Haye would definitely beat him. And I know Wlad or Vit would.

How long did Firtha have to train for this fight? Because he still came in way fat and out of shape.

I think he's just a 'part timer', works a regular job during the week, and I doubt he was paid a king's ransom for this fight, so he probably had limited sparring. But he does run marathons, so it isn't like he's a fat slob.
