Ireland's Jason Quigley was forced to settle for a silver medal at the World Championships after losing on points to home favourite Zhanibek Alimkhanuly in the middleweight final in Kazakhstan.
The 22-year-old from County Donegal was sent tumbling to the canvas in the first round and failed to recover with two of the three judges scoring the contest 30-27 in favour of Alimkhanuly.
Despite the defeat, Quigley becomes the first Irishman to win a silver medal at the event.
