Not since the Cotto fight will Manny be put in such a precarious situation. We all know Provodnikov was merely the sparring partner to Pacquiao. But after his win over Bradley and the heroic morale it gave him, I think Provodnikov would give Pacquiao a bloody, brutal, life and death kind of fight, much worse than the Margarito fight.

Like in the Alvarado fight, I would fear for Pacquiao's life. I am sure Roach knows this already and will hide under the guise of not allowing two of his proteges to fight each other when the truth is he knows the crushing weight of Provo's fists could spell the end for his prized pupil.

As a fan, let it happen and let the chips fall wherever they may. I think that fight would also astound the Mayweathers and for the first time would feel pity for Pacquiao.
