Let him have at least one fight at 147 before he fights Floyd. I'd like to see him fight Guerrero or maybe the winner of Thurman and Karass.

Every time I read or hear Garcia talk about this fight he doesn't seem that interested. Could be for any number of reasons most likely being that he knows the plan and the plan is for that fight to happen a bit down the road when it is even bigger.


Really when you look at the options out there for opposition for Floyd, Garcia is clearly the best guy but while that is the best fight it is not like it is that much bigger than Floyd fighting a schlep like Khan but Garcia has the potential to make the fight fairly big.

Plus from Garcia's point of view time is on his side so being patient for that fight is very wise.
