Their attendance? with their affordable ticket prices, they are still having a hard time selling out, Dana White already admit he gives thousands of comp tickets away for free to fans on twitter. It gives the illusion of a sell out, most of those people are comped for tax write offs.

When you look at the 300k for two guys who are meant to be their biggest stars and promoted heavily by FOX getting you can only assume their FOX deal is a failure.
yup, and remember all that **** Dana white was talking? When UFC was getting some great ratings on ****e Tv he was saying imagine UFC on network tv like FOX? he said it would be just as big as the NFL and bigger than Nascar LMAO.

If that were true how come when they got the FOX deal the ratings were lower than on ****e?

Dana always talking some hater ****. Now his words are biting him in the butt.

There biggest star is a female, how sad is that? Before Dana said he will never put females in UFc, but things change when you are desperate and your ratings are not living up to what you promised FOX so he brought on board Ronda Rousey.

Jon Jones is supposed to be this Mayweather of UFC, yet he can't even draw mayweather numbers, UFC even lies about their numbers, Jones last PPV was what 200k buys or something like that?

I remember golden boys Richard shaeffer called Dana White out on his numbers and profit he said ill show you our public numbers if you release yoru so called private ppv numbers, Dana never took up the challenge.

Holy **** no. That fight did around 600k according to the UFC shill Meltzer. The rematch is not going over 1 million. Your heavyweight champion pulled around 300k buys against JDS even with all that FOX promotion. UFC is not breaking any records when they're in this decline.
The fight only did 400k buys the Silva vs Wideman fight.

The key to UFC success is an american white heavyweight champion. Yeah I said it.Gone are the days of Lesnar ,coutre, and Liddell for MMGAY. Maybe once mma is completely dominated by Latinos blacks and euros the mainstream media will start saying the sport is dead as well. But that's off topic anyways boxing is doing better than mma.

                Lol, TS...

"So boxing did 2.6 million and MMA did 5.7 million... Which # is bigger?"

And the reason UFC's number of buys is higher is becuz... First of all, they have an average of 2 events a month... With an average of 200K buys per event, 12 months a year... That would bring in numbers even if they didn't have big stars like GSP, Silva, Lesnar, Jones, etc raking in million or close buys.

Second of all, its an organization... Dana White has to promote the company, Bob Arum/GBP has to promote each fighter individually... U slab UFC on a PPV event, that will sell on its own doesn't matter who u put on it... Boxing needs a specific name (or many name) fighters on it to sell

I didn't ask which number is bigger. I asked if someone could provide more PPV numbers boxing did in 2012 because I only remembered 3 PPV events and there had to be more.

I was looking for boxing's total PPV from 2012, the ppvs outside of pac and Floyd to add to the 2.6 million they sold in that year.

I really dont care who pulls more ppv buys.....

I like mma, and love boxing,,, I wish both sports do good,,, who really cares who does more ppv buys,,, Stuff like that will probably swing back and forth.... when floyd and manny retire, UFC could take the lead, and when silva, gsp retire, boxing could comeback.. But in the end,, who really cares,, i just want to see good meaningful fights in both sports

Ratings and PPV fights does not take in account wich sport it is...it depends on the stars and the fight. For exemple floyd(boxing ppv king) vs guerrero did around 800k and st pierre(the mma ppv king) vs diaz did 950k.
It depends on the fight but also take in account that mma does not have a guy like Floyd whos been undefeatead since the UFC was founded
Imagine is Cain dominates the hw division for another 10 years I wonder how popular would he be
