Well for some people their activity level is not at their peak in certain times. I'm most active around afternoon after work. That's when I get most of my running and work out in. When I run and work out in the morning I get tired more easily. Which is why some fighters like to train during night time. So their activity level is at their peak at fight time.

Brain is actually sharper in the morning. I know this from studying. Best three hours of study are the three immediately after you get up.

In saying that, some people need an hour or so to wake up completely, they're kind of dopey.

Agreed, night fights are for the fans/casino.

He would have been acclimatised, it takes about 4 days to get used to East coast time coming from the UK.

The Pac-Rios situation is different, however my understanding is that Pac v Rios won't take place until 12/1pm over there. It's the undercard which starts earlier.

12 hour difference on the East Coast, they'll start at 12pm at the latest.

Also Rios should come in a week early since it'll be a 15 hour time difference for him.
Pac's already in the Philippines...think it's an hour or two ahead of Macao

Why would it be early, athletes here in the USA normally play around that time, take for instance football.

They've had months to change their sleep pattern and preparation for the fight, won't be a problem. It's not like they'll be fighting 1 hour after they woke up.

I don't know but I'm just glad they're accommodating the time of the fight so it's played live in the US at a reasonable time on PPV.

imo, you're better off at night, or afternoon, in the morning you are really not at your best, the body takes awhile to get working to it's full potential after you've been in a comatose stage for 8-10 hours
