I hate that ruslan winning means he then fights the loser of manny/rios. that doesn't seem right.

I agree about Ruslan fighting the loser. He definitely deserves to fight the winner, personally I'm kind of on the fence because they both have the same trainer and they seem to be good friend and I really would not want to see two friends possibly take the others head off (someone WILL get hurt, IMO)


But I guess this is boxing and that's the point and I'm just being a *****. Friendship and Trainers aside- The winner of Pac/Manny should (if not Bradley) fight Provodnikov. If Pac-Bradley is next, obviously then Ruslan would have to settle for Rios.

Would Somodio train Ruslan for that fight? I'm unaware of his relationship with Manny, but he did a fantastic job (IMO) in the Alvarado fight.

I thought Manny beat Bradley as well, and I was against a rematch when that fight first happened, but now that Bradley has 2 great wins since then, it makes sense- for rematch/closure purposes and also for "resume" purposes.

As far as the friendship thing goes as well, you're right..... Ruslan would be winning the lottery and they are prizefighters after all, he could set his family up for life (he admittedly says he doesn't have much time at the top due to his style)

Pacquiaos boxing name was / still is the biggest name aside mayweather. He should sit out next year for mayweather if he can KO rios. If he cant, hes carreer = over. Just fight a farewell fight in philippines if he cant ko or tko rios

Tim fought JMM, Manny and Ruslan in a row. every other champion would be given an "optional" or "easy" defense at this point.

Ruslan and Manny both lost controversially to Tim. Ruslan beat Mike and deserves a bigger fight. They fight to determine Tim's next challenger.

Ruslan v manny is the kind of all action fight HBO is marketing and fans like you prefer.

so why would you not want to see it?

Tim would've faced Ruslan, win, lose or draw with Manny. Tim would never have gotten to chance to fight JMM if the judges didn't screw PAC.

At the end of the day, EVERYONE knows PAC won, so how is this even a question?
