He did bring it up right before the fight. That Lead the NYSAC to inspect the gloves carefully, in which they determined that his concerns were completely unwarranted.

Trust me, after the Luis Resto debacle, NY is not in the business of repeating that mistake again. Gabe is suddenly just trying to cross out his previous losses and build himself up.
