That would make sense if Donaire was a career Featherweight and people would ask if Rigondeaux can beat a Donaire who is a career FW. But that's not the case, they were both SBW's. Golovkin is a MW, Froch is a SMW and has always been so the example doesn't really apply much here.

Golovkin at this point. Kessler is about four years removed from his prime. Golovkin would attack and never let up. The fight doesn't make sense either way. Kessler should just retire. I don't know why he's open to getting his head bashed in when there's probably no financial need at this point. He's in Denmark too which takes care of its citizens so he's pretty much taken care of for life.

Kessler would put up a good fight, but ggg would be too good and fresh for him at this point..

I don't see Kessler beating top guys anymore.. He could be competitive but the only guy I could see him beating is Abraham

I just saw him be competitive against the Ring's #1 ranked fighter at 168 Carl Froch, in his last fight.

Who has GGG been competitive against at 160 that is in the same league as Carl Froch? Now Golovkin beats them both? Give me a break.

I just saw the same ring #1 guy guy go life and death twice with a domestic fighter... Froch and Kessler are both on the downhill.. Ggg is still fresh and that would show up after a few rounds...

Kessler and froch both have tons of mileage on them at this point, and vs a younger fresher top level guy, it will show

Should Golovkin carry his power to 168, I don't think he'll have much problem dispatching Kessler. However, i don't want to see him move up a division due to the lack of fights at middleweight. Martinez should be fighting him instead of fighting Cotto.
