I thought he was considering retirement
A semi retired Kessler beats an active GGG. When GGG settles in to 168, beats Chavez Jr and then a legit SMW like Groves, Froch, Bika, then I will say, okay, I see why some may think he can beat Kessler.

But a MW Golovkin, with his best win at the time of this thread being Matthew Macklin, and scheduled to fight Curtis Stevens, that is just mental ******ation at its finest.

I don't know, I don't look for that type of news, I read it when it is reported. You go on twitter and all that to find out, don't you? Go see what you can find.

I dont think he has made up his mind. He is a father now, and is building a house. I know that he'll attend Froch-Groves II and that he is currently sparring danish prospect Abdul Khattab.

Time goes by. I hope he retires. He is quite clearly over the hill. Not shot, but past his best by a fair margin IMO.

I thought GGG offered Kessler 20-30 thousand for a fight a year or two ago and Kessler laughed because he would get more fighting a journeyman than that.

You can't always simply go by resume though. Rigondeaux's best win going into the Donaire fight was Rico Ramos, yet many were picking Rigo to win based on his skill set, not strength of resume.

Sounds like he's waiting for that winner... or just Froch.

I mean... how can you not have a rubberband match for those two?

Would be cool if there was a neutral one since they both did it in each others home, but this fight is too big to not do it in either
