You got to give Gabriel Rosado credit

    He fights ANYBODY!

Angulo. Soto Karass. He declined to fight GGG at a catchweight. Got pummeled then still took another tough fight with J Leon Love on a Mayweather Promotions card...got robbed...luckly Love failed the tests...but then after all of that, he opts to fight Kid Chocolate. This dude doesn't seem to care about the concept of having a tune up fight.

I've questioned the handling of his career through some of these decisions, but you dayum sure can't question his heart. Looking forward to him vs. Kid Chocolate tomorrow.

Yeah, he has a great mentality. Though, in reality, what other option does he have?

True...but he had an option to fight GGG at a catchweight and he opted not to. It shows he'd likely have the same mentality regardless.

This is exactly my thinking. Good for Gabe, but it's either do what he's doing or have a non-career fighting meaningless club fights. There was an interview posted a couple of weeks back with Rosado. He spoke of how he just recently gave up his day job. The man wants to be a real pro fighter. There's no other way.

Yeah, but he HAS to win tomorrow. I fear that he won't get another big fight if he takes another L.

Yeah. It's tough enough being a fighter, but this kid was working odd jobs, Home Depot, etc, then heading to the gym and training for fights. He's not alone, however. Very few boxers make enough money from the sport to concentrate exclusively on their careers.

Yea, people are mad because he keeps getting these shots, but he's taking a bunch of tough fights. He gave up his IBF shot for a bigger money fight and challenge against Golovkin.
He came up the hard way with a handful of AM fights
He's not really in a position though to turn down many fights
