Why doesn't roach teach manny how to--

Move his head to avoid a punch, duck to avoid a punch or roll a punch?? Just been watching some old Manny fights and he is a great boxer but with little defense. If only he had learnt to do the above he would have been an even more elite fighter.

Manny is a better boxer than most give him credit for, with such a relentless attack it is very difficult to look like a slick boxer.

What Roach should do was to teach Manny how to defend uppercuts at close quarters, that's a mistake I've witnessed throughout Manny's whole career.

It really doesn't get anymore elite than where he was at before the Timmy robbery, he was at the top of the shelf and is really still among the best of the best at WW.

pac has okay head movement...it's not like pac has zero head movement...

you can see pac duck bradley's left hook and land his own flush left hand

Did you ever see Roach as a fighter? You can't teach what you don't know.

lmao true that but pac is offense 24/7 except for the bradley fight which is why he got robbed, i have no idea why he would be more defensive against a pillow puncher like bradley. i guess just to show he could do it.

Besides Marquez and Morales over a decade ago (two hall of famers by the way) who has been able to land much on Manny? Also, he's an offensive minded fighter, which means you have to sacrifice a little defense to implement such a gameplan. Watch the Tim Bradley fight, Manny showed he can box and demonstrate very sound defense if he decides too.
