Golovkin has to move up in weight, Froch has the natural height and reach advantage, and Froch is more experienced against top calibre opposition. Golovkin has looked spectacular against B-level fighters so far, and the trend continues against Stevens. Froch on the other hand has been in against the best of the best for the past four/five years (Mack excluded).

One thing is for sure, Froch will need his iron chin to hold up because Golovkin is going to nail him at some point.
One of the best fights to be made IMO (though Stevenson - Kovalev is another potential top one for 2014) - I really am 50-50 on this one. Froch is obviously the more proven, but GGG has yet to reach the limit of his capabilities. In weight they fight only a coupla pounds apart, though Froch has a clear height and reach advantage.

I ain't even voted 'cos I'm that unsure, but with a gun to my head I'd say GGG.

PS. I believe Sanchez said in interview recently that Froch was one of the few around the weight that might go 12 rnds with Golovkin.

They'll probably both get upset in their next bouts now

        Froch via wide UD.

GGG is a beast, but a bigger Froch with a granite chin wont have any problems with his power. It will be pretty brutal and great to watch, but Froch will use the jab, his size and his will to get the job done.

Yes please, GGG vs Froch would be nice. If GGG cant fight Floyd then against Froch yes indeed.

I hear people think GGG would beat Froch. That's interesting, that good is he? We will see then.
I heard Froch may want Chavez, and I don't think anyone would be interested in that one considered Sergio was outclassing him big time.

We want to see how good GGG really is, and preferby it would be against Floyd, but Floyd dithers too much, so more likely would be against Froch who will take on all comers.

You would have to favour Froch at this point. He's been in with competition that are levels or two above anyone GGG has faced. However, that does not always guarantee a victory. Golovkin is still a relatively unknown quantity, we don't really know how good he is yet. We know how good Froch is.

If it happened tomorrow, I'd have to favour Froch. Depending on how Froch looks against Groves, I may revise.

                Awesome fight.

I would so love to see it, but I think it's better Golovkin first take on Martinez.

Froch fight can potentially shorten up his career regardless he wins or loses.

                    Ohh good fight!

I'd love to see it, I think the Cobra would bitch slap GGG around the ring like he did to Boo-tay.
