The issue that Richardson had with Tito's wraps for the Hopkins fight was the way in which they were taping his hands, not what was actually in his wraps. The way that Trinidad wrapped his hands in the fight was the same way he wrapped his hands in every other fight prior to it - It just wasn't legal in New York.
It was legal everywhere else he had fought and he and his team were unaware that it was illegal in NY.
It's idiots like you who repeat nonsense like this that are the reason why NSB is overloaded with 'tards who don't know their history.
For ****'s sake, you can't even spell Naazim Richardson's name right and you expect people to take you seriously?
a whole lotta that!
New favorite poster! What's a #DaftTart #? Someone get this gentleman a drink, he knows his bawksin!

Sorry it just doesn't add up to me. I hear what some of y'all are saying regarding the custom gloves and potential tainted padding etc but lets be realistic. Grant is a huge company with far too much to lose and last time I checked, fighting with loaded gloves was a crime. So why would they risk the inevitable backlash and legal ramifications that would come from doing something as silly as making custom padded gloves for a fighter of their choice? They have so much to lose and nothing to gain. What's GGG gunna do, make Grant more popular? Promote them and dangle the loaded gloves in peoples faces as to hide it out in the public where nobody would expect it? They are already one of the top brands for boxing equipment, they don't gain anything by loading GGG's gloves.
Man is just a monster. Simple as that. Probably on that Provodnikov diet!

Not that it automatically means that you'll break your hands the first time you hit someone, but less padding obviously increases the risk - and since he's known as a big hitter in camp as well....
Let's face it, the gloves were inspected and found to be OK, Rosado just being bitter.

With that said. After all the complaining. Rosado's camp had the chance to wear Golovkin's second or third choice gloves and refused. So I seriously doubt they were any different than his own.

The simple fact that there is no glove making regulation speaks volumes about how much they know. I could make a 10 oz. dense latex foam glove harder than Margarito's wraps and the commission would give it a pass, as long as they weighed 10 oz.
