Reporter asked Hopkins if he'd fight Floyd and he said yeah sure I can make 160 I believe. Apparently showtime asked Hopkins if he can still make 160 and he said if the price is right so looks like Showtime is probing potential opponents for Floyd since there are no big names left to fight (khan being the closest thing to a big name). I don't think its anything more than that though, just some execs poking around for possible foes.

Good luck with that "alien" gimmick he's trying to pull off. He goes down to 160, I will give all my points away. If he goes 12 rounds, I'll drink a gallon of rancid milk. And if he beats Mayweather, I'll eat my feces.

This fight is not happening. Not a slim chance in hell. He's just dropping Floyd's name to get some media buzz by people who don't know the intricacies of making weight and its importance in matches.

If Hopkins, at his age, moves 15 pounds down from his weight class, then I guess a younger Sergio should go down to 147, Miguel should go back to 140, and Mosley drop to 140.

Hopkins/Floyd isn't happening...the idea is laughable.

The idea of De La Hoya-Pacquiao in 2008 at 147 was laughable. DLH hadn't fought at 147 since the Gatti fight, more than 7 1/2 years earlier, and Pacquiao had never fought above 135.

This is boxing; it's possible. If Hopkins wins impressively vs. Murat ("impressively" will be a very relative term here, guys), SHO and GBP will push for it, guaranteed.
