    Time To Cut The Crap!

Whatever the issue is between HBO and Showtime, whether it stems from fighters defecting and/or some other source of bad blood- It's time to cut the crap! There simply is no way that the potential best boxing match-ups in the world may never happen because the best fighters are divided between two networks! If the execs at Showtime & HBO have good business sense, they should know that there is potentially a ton of money to be made by just giving the fans the fights that they want to see. Pissing matches be damned! And please don't tell me that these networks are foolish enough to start an intense rivalry over Floyd Mayweather's differences with HBO! Floyd's a great fighter, but he's not the future of boxing; he's near the end of his boxing career. He's beating up-and-comers and has-beens because he has great skills and is still able to execute his fight plan. That's all fine and good, but his status as p4p king should be able to dictate nothing when it comes to which network gets which fighters or whether those fighters will ever match-up.

He is the most dangerous in his weight class as of right now if you ask me.

I really don't understand why people dislike Quillin so much. Dude has REAL undeniable power. He hurts everyone he fights.

IMO Quillen & Golovkin are the 2 best middleweights. I think they'd both carve sergio up at this point and a fight between the 2 would give the winner clear ownership of the middleweight division. Hopefully Martinez will act like a true champion & fight Golovkin in 2 fights and this division has a shot of getting sorted out somewhere down the line

I can't wait for Sergio to come back and demolish his opponent in his first fight. At least then I'll get to read some entertaining backtracking and the obvious doubting of his ability to beat the next guy and then the next guy, so on and so forth.

Nah, GBP/SHO have realised that they're not really in the running at 160 and are trying to give Kid C a bit of a publicity push. If they could get some of the Euro/UK guys over it might help, but SHO don't have the relationships with the Euro promoters that HBO do so they're fighting a losing battle.

Basically they have to give PQ some hype 'cos it's all they can do to try and make him relevant.

All the middleweights not named Quillin are going to do their best to stay on HBO's good side.

Simply put there are 3 big names in the middleweight division and the two biggest names between them are with HBO.

Besides if you're a middleweight like Barker and you have an upset on your mind, probably the better network to attempt one is HBO which is not affiliated solely with one promoter like Showtime is.

I like Quillin a lot, he's just with the wrong promoter for the division he's in. GBP has no other middleweight to match him with.

Quillin's proxy war went as good as America's when they tried to use Georgia against Russia. He got stalked and bullied by Rosado but thankfully GBP had their judges fill out shutout scorecards before the fight even started.

I guess Quillin got defeated in his proxy war. He'll have to get his generals to draw up a better war plan.

Lol This is a pretty epic bump.

The fight really showed that there is a significant gap between GGG and Quillin. The result completely blew up in GBP's face, which is always nice. They were hoping that Quillin would dispatch Rosado easily.

Oh well, better luck with Matthew Macklin. lol...
