cotto has big potential matchups at both 140 lbs. and 147 lbs. i also think he can beat alot of the top guys in both divisions castillo, hatton, zab, margarito are all guys that cotto can beat.

Castillo will beat Cotto, but Miguel would have a field day with Zab.

Here is the article but in spanish:

"El año pasado fue fuerte. La división de las 140 libras se ha ido aclarando a medida que pasan los meses y éste es el año de quedarnos con la división, de acaparar para el próximo año subir a las 147 libras", continuó diciendo Cotto.

Cotto: I'll retire in 4 years

Cotto said he's retiring in 4 years, he wants to spend time with his family. He said he's open to fighting Hatton and Mayweather Jr. but that after 2006 he ain't going back to 140 and what was left undone in 140(Hatton?) would be the past.

I remember that from a loooong time ago(well not that long) but earlier in his career cotto said he would retire by like age 29 or something.Of course it was just dismissed as talk.

Well good luck to him. I bet he'll be more competitive at 147 because he won't be punishing himself making 140.
