As they say, one punch can change everything in the HW division. If Floyd was a HW he'd be knocking people out in the 1st round (try to imagine Floyd's skills transferred to Lennox Lewis' body). Yes IMO it would have been great for boxing because most of the HW belts would be in the USA.

Floyd is a great fighter and he would be a great fighter in whatever weight class his natural body weight put him in. A lightning fast heavyweight with great skills and reflexes, timing and defense combined with decent power, a good chin and stamina would be hard to beat. He would be an even bigger star and make more money as the world's heavyweight champ. I don't know if that would be better for boxing or not.
