What's the point in having rankings if fights aren't enforced by the Boxing Commission based on those rankings? If Mayweather wanted to be considered unbeatable and the "undisputed" best fighter in the world in his weight class, he should've been forced to fight Manny when Manny was in his prime, end of story.
You'd think that now after Marquez knocked Manny out that Floyd would fight him but he's still too much of a coward. I guess from his perspective he beat Marquez so there is no need to fight Pacquiao to prove anything. At the same time, styles match up differently so it may still be interesting if Manny was well trained and focused. He was obviously too easy to find against Marquez, it just took Marquez a while to time his lunging attacks. Mayweather doesn't actually have much power, proven by his low KO % for the best P4P in the world but whether Manny could find him and beat him is another question.
