Earlier today BoxingScene.com spoke to world class trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. about his participation in a new boxing reality show that is scheduled to begin taping in January. The father of the pound-for-pound king of boxing said that he was intrigued with the show's concept in which nine fighters in the 140, 147 and 154 pound weight class will face off in a round robin format. The winner's of the round robin will then challenge a top twenty level opponent in each of the three weight classes on the Las Vegas Strip.

It might be interesting to see if these young guys can do well against a top 20 opponent after some training. It's kind of like The Ultimate Fighter show except at the end they have to fight someone good instead of just each other.

Sr. was a hell of a Fighter, and obviously is a Great Trainer,
and it's good that He's Involved in Project like this one!!!
There might be a Kid out there, that He can Polish into something Special!!!
