    Boxing fans should realize...

That when a boxer steps up in the ring to showcase his talent to entertain fans they are taking a risk. If a boxer is taking so much punishment that the boxer decides that his body can no longer take the punishment and is physically declining during the fight there should not be any backlash for the boxer "quitting" or stopping from further damage. I just watched the video of Frankie Leal who is in a coma after receiving multiple shots to the head and just laying on the side of the ropes almost lifeless. That was horrible to watch. There are instances when a fighter quits that I agree, the fighter deserves some type of criticism (Duran when he quit on Leonard) but when a fighter is physically declining and taking a beating fans need to back off. I am glad Alvarado stopped when he did, had no problem when Angulo and Cotto quit either. Both fighters were badly beaten. Maybe im just a soft boxing fan but to me that's not entertaining. I'm praying for Leal and his family. I pray he overcomes this.

The irony of you posting this and being a Cotto fan.

Your comments mean nothing. Im pretty sure you can't fight in real life. Frankie Leal is Mexican by the way. Have some respect or donate something to his family.
