The Golden Boy, the Swedish version that is, light heavyweight Oscar Ahlin, 9-0 (8), had it tough Saturday night against very tough Ukrainan Sergey Demchenko, 14-6, and while Oscar won fair enough his knockout streak ended at eight and along the way he suffered a broken and badly busted left hand already in the second. The fact that his right hand began to swell didnīt help either but Oscar showed true grit and good stamina in his first eight rounder. How he long he will be out remains to be seen but there wonīt any more fights this year.
