A legit point was raised in this thread I think. Why was it quickly blown off when GGG was dropped in sparring but now that he is making guys wear body protectors in sparring it's a huge deal?

I agree hater gets used too much. But some of the stuff you read about GGG is really negative for no reason and not based in reality. That is the definition of a hater.

Double standards? How? There is proof for them wearing body protectors, there's no proof he was knocked down in sparring. Heck, he's said he's never touched the canvas before, so it becomes a random fighters opinion vs GGG. One has proof, the other doesn't, so why are you upset we take the side with logic?

Even if he was knocked down, it's sparring, it happens to everyone, what's more eye catching? Knocking a fighter down in practice, or every fighter having to wear a mandatory body protector or you'll potentially break there ribs like Macklin? It's obvious which is more relevant and worthy of conversation.

Most importantly, why do you cry double standards when it includes someone like Golovkin, yet you stay quiet when it involves someone like Mayweather?
