      3) rios fights in straight lines & needs to break you down as the fight goes on. unless manny stands right in front of him, rios'll be uneffective
      4) mannys footwork is gna confuse rios, whom is slow nd already without footwork. rios willnever catch him
      5) rios can be outboxed if you fight in circles nd give lateral movement. (alvarado & abril)
      6) only 1 hitter quiter counter pucnhers (marquez) can take manny out. rios is not nd far from that kind of fighter

side note: i watch boxing ANALYTICALLY & I ACTUALLY BOX

how many times are you gonna end this thread...yet it continues?

1.) wtf? i don't know, but I'm pretty sure the last righty he faced put him to sleep...can anybody confirm?

2.) fighters without defense get stopped, rios must be doing somethin right...guess that means manny isn't.

3.) Needs to break you down as the fight goes on....hmm, damn, does this mean he's not superman? is manny any different? is anybody any different? You're making this far too easy for me. Are you sure you've boxed?

4.) his footspeed was good in his prime, but not today. his foot work is heavy and predictable.

5.) rios should've fought alvarado better than that, but the weight loss clearly affected him. As for abril, how can you possible say you know anything about boxing and expect manny to box rios like abril, or alvarado for that matter? That's not manny. he can't shoulder roll, he doesn't know how to run around the ring. he does know how to leap frog into right hands tho.

6.) Assumption, Juan's not a knock out artist otherwise he would've dropped Manny with the countless clean right hands he's landed on him over their fights.

      side note: i didn't ask.

No one knows what kind of physical and psychological damage Pac had from that KO which had to be one of the top 10 worst KO's in many years at this high level. Most expect Pac to blow right through Rios which is a reasonable assessment but until we see how that last fight affected him, we wont know till he steps in the ring. Nothing in Boxing is a foregone conclusion and I have seen everything happen inside those ropes. For Pac, I am hearing he has been looking great in training so we will see how that plays out on fight night.

About the same time that Pac became young again overnight and had no ill affects from the devastating KO he suffered in his last fight. No one knows how Pac will react yet. I think if he is back to what he was even in the JMM fight, he stops Rios in 6 rounds. But anyone who would be shocked if Rios wins has clearly not followed the sport very long because anything can happen and shocking things happen all the time and nothing surprises me.

Yes. Just because Ricky Hatton went out like that Manny Pacquiao will automatically do the same.
