There are a few fighters who deserve recognition for their accomplishments, but these awards are popularity contests. It is obviously going to go to Floyd.Comment

As I have said, Floyd isn't my choice (Garcia is), but he is a legitimate candidate. He is just as deserving as Rigo (assuming Rigo beats Agbeko, which is less of a given than most think), and more deserving than Kovalev (or Stevenson) imo.Comment

Accomplishment vs. Activity.
Last year I picked Marquez on accomplishment, The Ring agreed, BWAA disagreed picking Donaire based on activity.
This year is far from over, but I have Floyd on accomplishment. I feel that The Ring will choose Floyd, but the BWAA may side with activity again and pick Stevenson after he beats Bellew up.Comment

Danny, Tim or Floyd. Tim has the biggest win of the year over Marquez, but a ****** performance with Provodnikov might shaken that up.
Danny is the underdog of the year, with what he did to Matthysse. I certainly think the version of Judah he beat is better than Guerrero.
Floyd will have trouble because if anyone else beat the comp he has this year they'd be a shoe in, but this is expected of him now, so even in dominating it doesn't feel spectacular in retrospect.Comment
