I agree, shane-floyd would be 50/50 and if a prime shane landed on floyd like he did in 2010,, i dont like floyd's chances,,
and your right about forrest having the best style to beat him,, forrest was very skilled and the funny thing is that he could beat shane and probably ike and oscar, yet its a wild man like mayorga that brought his downfall,,,

Prime Shane Mosley is capable of being outboxed (see Vernon Forrest). So definitely loses to Mayweather. The problem is, we don't really have any super-talented pure boxers at 140 in this particular generation. It's more boxer/puncher, brawler, slugger, etc.

So you think a faster stronger Shane lets Floyd escape the 2nd without gassing? >__>... the Shane who used to let his hands go with big combinations and didnt have an Alzheimer's jab? That is a close fight Shane probably has an edge in. Styles make fights.

floyd and forrest are 2 completely different fighters,,,

          I agree that floyd/shane would be a 50/50 fight,,,

but forrest was a tall lanky jabber, that had serious pop,,, floyd would be hard pressed to beat forrest

Mosley is a interesting person in fantasy matchups. He hasn't had too many marquee 147 wins. His best win was vs DLH and probably Margarito.

He would lose to Mayweather and Pacquiao. And would probably be favored vs the rest.

Mosley was about 4 " shorter and with a shorter reach. Forrest had very long arms. His left jab won each fight, aided by judicious right crosses whoch would have been lethal for another boxer. it was the first and only time (until MannyP) that Mosley was ever KD-twice in the same early rd. I think the 2nd.
