I believe Austin Trout will win this match. Lara didn't look too good against Angulo and Trout is a very good boxer, I think he wins a UD in this fight.

        Wait.

According to Boxrec, Canelo won the Super version of the title off of Trout. I thought Trout was the "regular" champ while Floyd had been the "Super" champ since Cotto.

So did they strip Floyd when he fought Guerrero and promote Canelo to "Super" champ? I thought that unifying WBA titles would eliminate the "regular" version, as with Klitschko-Povetkin.

        This **** is disgusting.

LOL at boxing today Trout was the WBA world champion, Canelo beat him too become the WBC & WBA world champion , then Floyd beats Canelo now out of nowhere Floyd is WBA super champion... LOL

Pacquiao is 0 - 2 in his last 2 fight and if you look at the WBO ranking Pac is the new WBO super champion ( Bradley WBO world champion)

Trout was the regular WBA champ going into the fight vs. Canelo. Since that fight was a unification, the WBA Super title should have been on the line, but since there already was a WBA Super champion, Floyd Mayweather, Canelo (the winner of the fight) because the WBA Unified Champ, which I guess is a step up from Regular champ, but still below Super champ.

Klitschko-Povetkin did not eliminate the Regular title, you can't eliminate the Regular title in the WBA. The WBA will soon order a fight for the vacant Regular WBA Heavyweight title.

As a side note, the WBA recently promoted Beibut Shumenov to Super champ at 175 because he's has such a great reign so far, so soon their will be another Regular champ at 175.

                    WBA.
