The World Boxing Association has ruled that Erislandy Lara (18-1-2, 12KOs) vs. Austin Trout (26-1, 14KOs) will have the WBA's "regular" junior middleweight title at stake. Lara-Trout takes place on December 7th in a Showtime televsied clash from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The previous "regular" champion, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, fought the WBA's "super" champion at 154 - Floyd Mayweather Jr. - on September 14th and lost a twelve round majority decision at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Mayweather will remain as the "super" champion at 154, according to the WBA. [Click Here To Read More]

Good chess match, this. Really looking forward to it. I think it's 50-50 for the two slicksters, but Lara has more fight-changing power than Trout. Whoever gets off first and controls the action with their jab wins, I guess. They'll both be wary of each others' straight lefts.

Lara/Trout winner should fight the Andrade/vanes Mart. winner and leave canelo the usual goldenboy puppet easy rout facing the molina/ortiz winner then the winners can meet up

Down in the 918, there's a title called the "Corona Oklahoma Heavyweight Title."
