I don't think it was a stamina issue really. He wasn't throwing shots all the time because he wanted Alvarado to throw first and leave himself open to be countered.

Provo got close and used underrated head movement to avoid a lot of shots before landing his own.

He only really had his hands down when he was out of range and in the 9th and 10th where Alvarado wasn't as much of a threat.

He was just taking his time

he was shaking his arms out early in the fight but that could easily be attributed to muscle fatigue due to the altitude

was he doing that against bradley?

He won't be able to beat top level guys all the time with his bad stamina. This is a bad sign just like Mike who has show signs of bad stamina throughout his career it will cost him in the end. This is why if a fighter show signs of bad stamina I cant take them seriously its a red flag .That they don't train hard or its genetic

no he was not but he does not have a high work rate he is suspect in my eyes going by his other fights of having bad stamina

i think saying he has "bad stamina" is overexaggerating just a bit

i only saw one round where Ruslan didn't "work" and that was round 9

watch his other fights not just this one to me in this fight he show signs of having bad stamina. Mike on the other hand never fixed his stamina problem and I expect Ruslan not to do anything to fix his

His stamina is fine. His flurry's that dropped alvarado in the 10th and 8th round were ****in nasty and hard as hell. The thing I like about him is he puts pressure on you without throwing punches, much like Golovkin where he is always in your face and you have to move the entire round.

Alvarado has pretty good stamina and he was completely done by the 10th round while prov was still light on his feet moving forward.

Prov is going to be a handful for anybody.

He puts too much speed and explosiveness into each punch to be able to keep a high workrate without recoup time. If he were throwing arm punches, he could keep it up, but he isn't; he's putting a lot into his shots, but is still able to keep up a good work rate.

Try it... Go to the gym and feel the energy difference between throwing high speed and power combinations and throwing arm punches.

He just shot his load after hurting Bradley in 3 out of the first 6 rounds against Bradley; that combined with having to press and take Bradley's constant combinations depleted his stamina. He still threw close to 900 punches (70 punches per round). His stamina was/is excellent...
