Ruslan vs Rios is a better fight even though i think Ruslan would win by TKO. It'd be a straight up bulldog fight with both fighters coming forward and exchanging punches.

After Provodnikov/Rios/Pacquiao (or whoever comes off as the winner) faces the other Top Rank fighters, and wins, what happens then? TR's options at 140/147 are limited. What happens then? A bunch of fixed matches, illegal Mexicans with padded records, and fixed fights. Arum will do so much crookery before he can work with the other company that has all the welterweight fighters. I drool at the thought of a Matthysse-Provodnikov but Bob Arum is the biggest part of the problem.

Alvarado needs a break, he's on a brutal streak. TR needs a light hitting and durable guy on their roster, like Paulie with Haymon/GBP. Maybe bring in Herrera, their first fight was very good. Or unleash Cuenca on them

Anyway, I don't want to see Alvarado v Provo next. I'd rather watch Rios v Provodnikov at 140 depending on how the Pac-Rios fight goes.

i often hope these guys are in their teens.

in reality, they're in their 20's, and should know better.

provodnikov - rios will be a savage fight. they're built a bit different, but their temperament is exactly the same.

rios is steady, and ruslan fights in spots. i think rios chin is good enough. rios via late stoppage if pacqauio doens't beat him up too bad. provodnikov is going to bleed all over the place when rios is teeing off on him.

Stop wishing people death, death has no number so anybody can go at anytime. I wouldn't be surprise if you go first instead of him, just because you're younger doesn't mean you gonna live longer. Go buy today news paper and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Even an average 9 year old wouldn't wish death on a stranger, for such crass, crappy reasons. There is a quacking clique on this site, who for reasons which are both irreversible and irrational, have a hatred of Arum which they express by those juvenile methods. if this were a different kind of site, perhaps a group could have banded together and asked that an intelligence test be mandatory for posters.

But.....this is not so, therefore we have had to see BoxingScene, over the years, collect all the sludge from the sweepings of other sites, where they became unwelcome, and this is the result.

TR no matter what will keep recycling and keep everything in house. Great fight but I see no reason to rematch. Alvarado can always fight a third time against Rios if he loses

If that's in the option, then I think a fight with Marquez would be awesome. I think Ruslan would stop Marquez too, and I think Freddie would love to train Ruslan for that fight. Hell I might even buy it if it was PPV.
